Hi Mike.
Nice to finally read from you direct! To satisfy a need for a comfy pillow and the family's need for you to rest I reckon you should knock them up for the Tempur pillow I mentioned a few blogs back. Not sure if you have gotten to that comment yet. To repeat here: the world's bestest pillow (my recommendation of the 3 options) is the $239 "Tempur Comfort Pillow" at HARVEY NORMAN - CITY STYLE, CAPITAL GATEWAY CENTRE, 34 THORNDON QUAY. 04 499 4750. It feels like lying on a sponge cake - but without the crumbs. It should give you a damn restful sleep, and may increase your appetite if you keep thinking about what it feels like.
Love from Richard Kerr and Margaret Northcroft. xx.

Fantastic news Mike.
Ask the Occupational Therapists if they have access to an oversized keyboard-I'm sure they exist. If not, then they should .

Brilliant job, Mike. This blog is the first thing I check when I get to work (those office e-mails can wait), and it's fantastic to read about your progress. Cheers from San Francisco.

Hi Mike,

It's great to hear from you! Both Troy and I have been keeping up with all your progress reports and can't believe how fast you're recovering! In terms of getting a good night sleep - you should definetely persuade your whanau to invest in one of those flash pillows. For that price however I'd be wanting a head massager service as well.
Take care little Mikey,
Love Rachel Petersen and Troy Matheson.

Gidday Mike

Really pleased to read of your terrific progress, as many others have also acknowledged.

I figure too that the Iceberg Theory probably applies to the many comments posted here - that being that what you can see is probably only 10% of the whole (the "whole" in this case being the many folk keenly following your recovery).

Hope you've also had a chance today to venture outside and enjoy the fantastic Wellington autumn weather! Perhaps a chance for that trip to the dairy?!?

Cheers for now

Mike your an absolute legend! Todays post brought a smile to my face. It sounds like all that IM training is paying dividends in your recovery. Look forward to the day your back on the bike (I'm sure thats why they make all the hospital corridors so wide - right??)

Dear Mike

As someone else said, your news and first post brought a happy smile to both of us too.

It's wonderful to hear your progress now and know that everyone who has been worrying and hoping for you can relax a little and enjoy your recovery.

Very best wishes from up north.
